Big Truths for Young Hearts, by Bruce Ware (234 pages)

I have been reading a chapter each day to the family. So far, it has been excellent. How do you explain the transcendence and immanence of God to your kids? Ware does a pretty good job. I am looking forward to the rest of the book. 

We just finished this book as a family during family devotions. I cannot recommend the movie based on the book. It is totally different than the book, however, the book on tape is pretty good.

This book contains an exposition of 1 Corinthians. So, I have added it to my weekly reading in support of my sermon preparation on my 1 Corinthians series.

Disciplines of  Godly Man, By Kent Hughes (304 pages)

I am reading this book along with our Intern Pastor Eugene. Discipleing new converts is fun, but discipleing leadership is also necessary and a genuine joy.
